We play something for everyone, though take no responsibility for how out of tune they are while singing along!

Birthday celebrations
miss mixtape brings the wow factor to your birthday celebrations, playing songs through the decades, a whole lot of classics from the 1960s through to today. Have some favourite songs you like to boogie to? We always endeavour to incorporate them into the night so you can get your shimmy on with tracks that are special to you.
We set the mood from cocktails on arrival until the last guests leave the dancefloor, preferably not being carried off! Let’s have a chat about your vision for that special celebration.
Weddings
It is an honour to be the soundtrack of your special day, as you walk down the aisle, at the reception, or both. miss mixtape’s DJ sets feature music for you, your parents and Great Aunt Jean from Invercargill who can still rock a mean cha cha, helping make your wedding fun and memorable for all. Festival life
AUM New Year’s Festival
AUM is is home to a broad range of music including psytrance, techno, house, drum & bass, live psychedelic rock, dub and downbeat, bass music, chill-out, and more, scheduled across four themed stages set by coastal Kānuka forest.
Lucky Star at Splore
An eclectic lineup of musical artists from Aotearoa and abroad perform over three days. Multi-disciplinary performances, interactive art installations, and workshops unfold across the site. And people dance like nobody’s watching by the sea.
Waipu-Palooza
The adventure of a lifetime at none other than the famed Woolly Valley. Waipu-Palooza is a space for 24 hours of fun, mayhem, music, blissful dancefloor antics and frivolity, with a hand-picked selection of top notch DJs.
Shipwrecked
Shipwrecked boasts five distinct stages, interactive installations, all infused with creativity, passion and imagination. World-class sound, lighting and projections, visual arts, and sculpture, all in a forest by a lake in Te Arai.
